Not a lot to say

Not been much to say of late, also had problems with the Internet connection in the house, hence the lack of posts last few days.



Took this pic, caught me unawares as I went for an evening walk.


This is what Dennis calls a "China car", I just wish I'd been walking in the other direction cos I'd a seen it coming.


I'd just been round the lake again, between it and the house is a hill with palm trees growing all round, I'll have to climb these steps, see pic.

Can't think of anything else so I'm off till tomorrow.

    Isn't that 'the stairway to heaven'?

    Go work those legs out. Keep the socks on, you don't want blisters!

    Weather has started to deteriorate here, but still quite mild.

    Hi Neil

    Just realised that if I double click on your pics they come up bigger! What a plonker! As anonymous said it looks like the Stairway to Heaven. Shouldn't the song be one of Lead Zeppelin's or maybe Rolf Harris?
    Hope they are treating you OK over there. When are you likely to return? In time for the Spring Bank holiday?
    Nothing much to report here, very quiet without you. Just had a bit of a laugh here, Lynda was telling us she was looking something up on the internet re the pantomime 'Babes in the Wood' and you wouldn't believe what came up!
    Keep on smiling, and as the song says 'Be back soon' (from Oliver)

    Those steps look very impressive,
    i'd lose a few pounds running up and down those.What can you see when you get to the top?

    Read youngest daughters comments bout earthquake !!! who never felt the one in Notts ???????

    Thank you for that tip ~Golden Oldie Chris I didn't realise that about photos either, so i've been squinting at some trying to see them better!!!! I' not very computer literate !! only work in year 2 !!!

    I'm with Alison those steps are impressive just what I need to lose some weight although I need to lose more then a few pounds .

    The China Car looks better then some of the ones on the Road here

    Weather is disappointing here I fear that we have had our summer

    Golden Oldie I must have missed the Lynda conversation will have to catch up on that tomorrow

    Neil how many of them steps are there and how long does it take you to run up them!!

    Are you fed up with the food yet?

    I'm useless on music so I won't try to think of a song I'll leave that to the others
